Two weeks after buying his first guitar, Michael had written his first two songs. A few weeks later he performed them at his college talent show. He was surprised and overwhelmed by the audience’s enthusiastic response. Clearly his songs and performance had touched them. This was the spark that started him on his musical path.
Since then his love of writing and performing has led to seven albums of original songs.The latest, Walking In Paradise, is a departure from some of the earlier, more anti-war and political albums.
As the title implies, he’s now enjoying life with his friends and family in the beautiful “paradise” of northern California, where he’s settled between the roaring Pacific Ocean and the majestic Sierra Nevada Mountains.
Though he hasn’t lost his passion for the cause of peace and justice, his mission has simply evolved to connecting with the peace and love within and then sharing it with others through his music. With his current group, The Peacemakers, Michael has found the perfect blend--- he provides the poetry, they provide the motion!
